Spiritual care

The spiritual care department supports the religious, spiritual and emotional needs of the community which includes residents, family members and staff. This is met through thoughtful and meaningful visits, worship services, group activities, Bible studies, memorial services, bereavement ceremonies and staff educational in-service opportunities. The chaplain walks alongside the residents on life’s journey. As needed, the chaplain coordinates with local clergy to provide worship services, specific sacramental ministries and rituals. Alter
