The 2011 Savor the Flavor: The Fifth Course was held Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011 at Riverwood RV in Mandan. The event included a Grand Chef Show-Off, Silent Auction of Significance and Luxury Live Auction. The beneficiary of this year's event is the Medcenter One pediatric rehabilitation department. Inspired by his daughter, nationally-acclaimed artist Hans Gilsdorf created the Gilly Art TheraTree. This realistic, but magical tree will help nearly 600 North Dakota children with cerebral palsy or related disorders master simple, day-to-day maneuvers critical to their achievement of independence. |
