Announcements

The Medcenter One Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC), formerly housed within pediatrics at Q&R Clinic, has relocated to the Dakota Block building located at 200 E Main Street in Bismarck. The Medcenter One DCAC is asking for help to with furnishings and supplies for their new location.

Items needed to calm, comfort and relax children visiting the center, especially for the first time, include hot wheels cars, nail polish, hair accessories, lip gloss, super balls, marbles, bubbles, art supplies, play-dough, journals, books, jump ropes, Frisbees, small balls, playing cards, card games, pens and pencils, blankets and new stuffed animals.

Children undergoing play therapy use a broad array of art supplies such as tempera or water color paints and brushes, glitter paints and glue, washable markers, pastels or crayons and drawing paper. Donations of these items would be appreciated, as well.
Finally, the center needs restaurant gift cards for families that must travel long distances from home, and bottled waters, juice boxes and individually packaged snacks to have on hand for their occasionally hungry pediatric patients.

Anyone interested in donating furnishings or supplies for the center are asked to contact Paula Condol at 701.323.6864 to arrange delivery.
