Medcenter One Foundation hosts a free basic wills seminar

BISMARCK, N.D.—Sheldon Smith, an attorney at law practicing with Smith Bakke Porsborg & Schweigert, will give a free presentation about basic wills 1:30—4 p.m. Thursday, March 25 at the Medcenter One Outpatient Services Center, 414 N. Seventh St., Bismarck.

Smith will talk about the importance of creating a will, the need for establishing and naming someone to serve as power of attorney, why it is important to record healthcare directives and what happens in probate court where a valid will is not present.

Registration is required. Contact the Medcenter One Foundation at 323.8450 by Tuesday, March 23 to attend. At least 25 people must be registered by this date for the seminar to be held.
