Prairieview Nursing Home

About us

Prairieview Nursing Home was a welcomed addition to the Underwood community. The 64-bed facility opened in July 1968 with 28 semi-private rooms and eight private beds. It was the first nursing facility on Highway 83 between Bismarck and Minot.

Medcenter One bought Prairieview in 1996, making us part of an integrated health system. We offer acute stays within our hospital to long-term care in our nursing facilities. We have been serving our community for more than 40 years and employ more than 100 people from local and surrounding communities.

Prairieview is a 60-bed facility with 20 private rooms ranging in size from 192 square feet to 252 square feet with private bathrooms. There are 20 semi-private rooms with shared bathrooms.

Administrator
Kim Jensrud has been administrator at Prairieview Nursing Home since 2008. She has 20 years of management experience ranging from retail to customer service. A native of Greenbush, Minn., Jensrud earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
