About usMedcenter One Laboratory is a College of American Pathologists (CAP) accredited, high complexity laboratory. The laboratory serves Medcenter One hospital and Q&R Clinic, and operates and advises several Medcenter One satellite clinical outpatient laboratories. We also provide otureach laboratory services to non-Medcenter One facilities, such as:
The main Medcenter One Laboratory is in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. There are pathologists on-site with anatomic and clinical pathology board certifications, and hematopathology subspecialty certification. Our staff has additional qualifications such as biochemistry, molecular biology and microbiology certifications. Laboratory staff includes a clinical chemist, clinical microbiologist, medical laboratory scientists, medical laboratory technicians, phlebotomists, histotechnologists, cytotechnologists, histocompatibility technologists, transcriptionists, receptionists and an inventory specialist.
