Medcenter One psychiatric unit

Medcenter One’s in-patient psychiatric care is designed to help adults who are suffering from mental illnesses including depression, anxiety, emotional distress and various disorders.

Our team includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses and technicians, social workers and occupational therapists who work closely with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan. What’s more, our care team works closely with various community support agencies to optimize treatment results for each patient.

Rehabilitation unit

Rehabilitation nurses specialize in the nursing needs of patients who have suffered musculoskeletal injuries or disease, head trauma, spinal injuries, and neuromuscular diseases such as Parkinson's disease.

The goal of the nurse is to help the patient regain independence to get back home and be comfortable in the ability to live as independently as possible.

Medcenter One nurses work a partnership model. A registered nurse and a nurse assistant work together to give 24-hour care to patients. Dedicated to being the best, many of the nurses at Medcenter One's Rehabilitation Center are Certified Rehabilitation Nurses.

The home-like surroundings of the patient rooms start patients on the road to independence. With the help of their nurses, patients practice what they learn in therapy.

Designated to help with recovery, the day room has tables that come down from the ceiling. This allows easy wheelchair access during meals and activities.
