Children's Hospital
The
goal of The Children's
Hospital is for each patient
to receive the highest quality of care.
The Child and Adolescent Health Services
at Medcenter One has a strong commitment
to children. The skilled and caring staff
at The Children's
Hospital provides the tender
care your child needs and expects when ill.

Parents
are welcome anytime, day or night and you
can also stay in your child's room overnight.
Children
are encouraged to have some quiet time during
hospitalization to ensure adequate rest.
Toys
are available, along with a VCR and Nintendo
gaming system. We encourage you to bring
your child's favorite toys, stuffed animals,
blankets and pajamas from home.
An
a la carte breakfast will be available for
parents from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at
no charge. Other meals are also available
in the cafeteria, coffee shop or upon special
request from your nurse for a minimal charge.

daughter was quite ill, but Dr. Stephen
McDonough was very calm, educated
and caring. What a great asset to
Medcenter One. And the children's
hospital has some great nurses - Brigit,
Jessie, Lynette, Barb, LeeAnn and
others.
