College of Nursing METI Patient Simulator

While some of us learned our profession through classroom lectures, hastily scribbled notes and extensive research in the burrows of the library, today's students have grown up in the world of technology. Our nursing students are connected to iPods, digital cameras, laptop computers, text messaging, cell phones and email. It is a well documented fact that traditional approaches to teaching and learning are not as effective as they once were.

Today we are asking you to help us change with the times. Today we are asking you to support Medcenter One's College of Nursing's dream of purchasing a METI Patient Simulator by becoming a member of the Heritage Society. Your enrollment in this annual giving program will help us bring this technology to our nursing students.
