How much does it cost?

Absolutely nothing. We will provide your evening meal and snack.

If you do not have transportation to class, we can assist with arrangements that are provided.

Who teaches the classes?

You will be pleasantly surprised that the people who teach the classes are very much like you. Some are parents who teach the classes, and adults who may not be parents, but care for and have experience in working with children.

Is the class like a lecture?

No. We prefer to think of it more as a learning support group. Our facilitators have had special training in The Nurturing Program. Parents involved in the group learn a great deal from each other.

It may sound like a lengthy time commitment at the beginning, but our experience is that parents are disappointed when it comes to an end!

You are strongly encouraged to bring your children. There are more fun activities to facilitate learning.

How often does a new group start?

New groups begin in January and September every year. The Birth Through Five Year Old Program lasts seventeen weeks. The Four to Twelve Year Old Program lasts fifteen weeks.
