Botox

Wrinkles develop normally as adults age. To slow this natural process, be sure to avoide excessive sun and, if you smoke, quit. Physician-administered cosmetic treatments such as Botox Cosmetic can help, too.

Botox Cosmetic injections work by reducing the activity of the muscles that cause frown lines to form over time. The treatment is usually done in about 10 minutes, and no recovery time is needed. Most patients see improvements within a few days. Lines continue to improve for up to a month, and results can last for up to four months.

For more information, contact Dr. Susan Betting at 323.8300 or sbetting@mohs.org. Dr. Betting is a board-certified physician with special training and certification to provide Botox services.
