AJ Marx
Horizon Middle School

AJ Marx, ninth grader at Horizon Middle School in Bismarck, loves a good read. He likes book series, especially spy stories. He also likes to bowl, fish and enjoys music. AJ attends confirmation class and ushers at Lutheran Church of the Cross. AJ has worked with the family mentoring program at the University of Mary by letting students come to his therapy sessions and his home. He has presented to career classes about his disability with his occupational therapist. AJ’s parents are Floy and Allan Marx.

Xavier Cornell
Lewis and Clark Elementary School

Xavier Cornell is 8 years old and in second grade at Lewis and Clark Elementary School in Mandan. Xavier loves playing his Nintendo DS, watching Scooby Doo and playing board games with his family. Xavier is also a big fan of the outdoors. He likes riding his bike, going boating and playing in the sand box. His parents are Elijah and Karen Cornell and he has one older brother, Kalum.
